Two hour hands-on location shoot during which time we will discuss techniques I use as a professional family photographer.

Bring your camera and practice the techniques we discuss as we go along.

This workshop is designed to give you a better technical understanding of your camera, how light affects your photos, and a basic knowledge of composition. Finding pockets in less obvious locations is key to natural looking portraits of your family. Learning to read the natural light that is given to you on any given day and make use of simple techniques and household items to enhance the light can give you added skills in producing top notch family photos. Turn a snapshot into a portrait with techniques learned in this workshop.

Given some simple principals anyone can learn to take dynamic portraits of their family. My goal is to inspire you to seek photographic opportunities, using the skills you've learned, that will tell a story of a lifetime.
